The In-Site Design team was happy to be part of the Co-op and Condo Show held April 8th at the NY Hilton. We showed our latest projects to almost 3,000 developers, property managers and board members and the response was excellent!
Congratulations to Chris Dana of Douglas Elliman who won our raffle!

On April 1st, leaders from the Real Estate community met to discuss Hot Markets in NYC. Justin Elghanayan, Vice President of Rockrose Development Corp., Jared Kushner, President of Kushner Companies and Michael Phillips, Chief Operating Officer of Jamestown Properties offered their insights into how the Meatpacking District, Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and Long Island City are still hot markets for developments. The culture in the first two neighborhoods is rich with restaurants and retail that make them vibrant, while there is still room to grown in Long Island City.
Neighborhoods to keep your eyes on are Midtown West to the Hudson Yards and Sunset Park in Brooklyn. Michael Phillips also thought Murray Hill has potential for growth.
At In-Site, we’re happy to be part of the development in both Long Island City, with our designs for27 on 27th and in Williamsburg with 544 Union Avenue, two recently completed developments! Our design for the Lounge at 568 Union Avealso adds excitement to the building.
Join In-Site Interior Design and our team of Long Island Designers for a day of talks and exhibits at the Long Island Commercial Real Estate Expo. See the diversity of product sources and enjoy the various seminars given during the course of the day.
We’ll be there showing our most recent projects off to the developers, real estate brokers, and guests!
We’re so excited that one of our buildings made it to a Top Ten List in a widely distributed daily newspaper in NYC: AM NY! Sharing the list of “NYC’s Top Ten Ritziest, Glitziest Buildings” with New York by Gehry and The Plaza Hotel, 27 on 27th Street is a 27 story residential development with 232 units. They are great apartments with some really nice finishes, but I think the reason the building made it on to the list is because of its exceptional amenity spaces. There is a movie theater (available for private screenings!), a kids room, and a gym. I think the Lounge is also exceptional. It has soaring ceilings and our goal was to create areas with intimate spaces within the larger recreation space. Small “reading” niches in a unique screened area serve to provide those intimate areas while others can party by the pool table and bar. Smart, but comfortable furnishings fill out the room to make it a main attraction.
In-Site Interior Design spent two years working with the client, Heatherwood Communities, and architect, Karl Fischer Architect, during the development phase. We designed the full building interiors to appeal to those who might want to live in Manhattan, but not spend money on Manhattan rents. The rental units are spacious with 2 bedroom units offering additional kitchen/living storage units over the islands.
It’s a great building and we invite you to join us in the celebration of our making a Top Ten!
Check out this video of our New York interior designer, Elizabeth Sanchez Vaughan, visiting Chicago for NeoCon in 2012. NeoCon is one of the largest product and furniture fairs, where our interior designers attend and bring back ideas to our locations in New York City and on Long Island.
It’s that time of year again…Spring!…And time to make some real changes to your co-op or condo. Well, join me at The Co-op and Condo Expo where you will find us exhibiting our portfolio of work. We can discuss your goals for interior design changes and we’ll show you how we’ve gone through the process with other property owners.
At the Show you will also find lots of other companies to handle the mechanical and operation aspects of apartment and building ownership.
