ASID PUBLISHED ARTICLE ON HEALTHCARE INTERIOR DESIGN

Elizabeth S. Vaughan was selected to write a piece for The New York Chapter of ASID, the American Society of Interior Designers, Spring 2021 quarterly Design Magazine article. The feature was included within the Commercial Design Trends and discusses the aftermath of the Covid-19 Pandemic and where to go from here within our built society.

Improving the physical and emotional wellbeing of hospitals, healthcare facilities and medical offices is at the forefront of the interior design and medical industries. Introducing biophilic design elements can assist with patient, staff and visitors more safely interact with the build environments around them.

As a new affiliate member of the SARA, Society of American Registered Architects, In-Site Interior Design was featured in the 2020 SARAscope publication, appearing in their digital and printed issue. The article addresses the growing firm profile of working with commercial and residential projects to deliver full interior design packages to clientele, ensuring to exceed goals and expectations.

LIBI DIAMOND AWARDS

New York interior design firm takes home not one, but two prestigious design achievement honors at the LIBI Awards ceremony held in Long Island. In-Site’s designers are thrilled by their recognition for high-quality design. Winning in the Multi-Family Building and Whole House Makeover categories, both design projects featured in the winter edition of House design & lifestyle magazine.

FEATURED IN QBBA

After In-Site Interior Design finished completing another high-rise rental property in LIC the year prior, the growing Long Island developer, Heatherwood Communities, tasked In-Site’s designers to complete a contemporary interior design of their next multi-family building in the highly competitive Williamsburg community. This interior design project was awarded “2014 Building Award for Excellence in Design and Construction”, QBBA, December 2014.

With the development team thrilled about the quick rental leases and a notable recognition from the design community, In-Site Interior Design continued to complete several other NYC and Long Island new construction and renovation developments as well as their corporate office. In-Site Interior Design’s own founder, Elizabeth S. Vaughan, is featured in the Long Island Business News article, “Uncommon Areas” in April 2014. As a leading interior design firm with expertise in the multi-family, high-end single family and commercial arenas, the design team has been at the forefront of reclaiming and redefining neighborhoods such as Williamsburg, Bushwick and Long Island City to address the needs of today’s residents.

27 on 27th Street was awarded AM New York’s “Top Ten NYC’s Ritziest Buildings” in July 2013. This Hunters Point rental building in the up-and-coming Long Island City, is praised for its unique floor plan and opulent amenities in the new construction development. “The eight luxurious penthouses also come in various shapes and sizes. ‘Building units have amazing finishes and floor to ceiling glass windows with clear views of the Manhattan Skyline.’ Schuss Said.” Each of the included projects in the article are recognized for many notable features including: “amazing finishes … and it houses a private movie theater.”

Recognized for a lavish home interior design portfolio, In-Site Interior Design was featured in 25A Magazine’s, “A Crossroads Where City Meets Suburb” in August 2013. This article discusses how to design for Manhattan luxury apartment and townhouses with the feeling of the suburbs. The author Natalie B.
