Deciding to renovate their home of 9 years, rather than relocate, the Roslyn Heights family called on In-Site to turn their bedrooms, bathrooms and Study into luxurious personalized spaces. With a professional house decorator, each room was explicitly designed for its inhabitants to create the perfect space to relax and unwind, resulted in full of beautiful, unexpected details, layered textures and colors. Winner of the LIBI Award for Design Excellence.
In-Site Interior decorator & designers were involved in every detail throughout the 2nd floor house renovation. Beginning with having the flooring refinished to a deep chocolate brown instantly refreshed the look. Throughout the bedrooms, the window treatments, bedding and pillow accents were selected from high-end decorator showrooms and fabricated in our local workroom to ensure every detail was exactly as designed.
The Master Bedroom was an exciting room to design with a transitional, opulent feel. The elegant soft curve of the bed, a custom headboard with crystal accents and fully customized bedspread and pillows provide depth and rich textures throughout. The silk area rug, wing chair with ottoman paired with designer fabrics and art selections add the perfect final touches for grand interior living.
The two daughters’ bedrooms were designed with their tastes in mind. The first is a mature space for when visiting parents with a family of her own. The four-post bed was repurposed and is graceful with the elegant glamour wallcovering and mirrored furniture pieces. The bedding and window treatments were also fully custom with an aqua blue accent throughout.
Designing a teen bedroom which was mature for her age and easily accommodate needs in the future was important for the design. Custom designed headboard with underneath storage was a key feature along with displaying her snow globe collection and an asymmetrical soffit above. A white shag rug, airy sheer curtains, cozy pod to curl up into for reading and terrariums floating above great the perfect teen retreat.
The study features an Armani Casa textured wallcovering to die for. Paired with custom dark wood bookcase for ample storage, striking desk chair and gold metal accents, it is a dream home office interior design. The existing desk was repurposed giving the room an eclectic vibe. Finishing out the scope of work includes the design of two custom bathrooms, a guest bedroom and the first floor foyer.
