C+A GLOBAL RETAIL SHOWROOM
Cutting-Edge, Bold, Contemporary
This electronic distribution company, C+A Global, requested a bold and exciting showroom design to feature their product and client line at their Edison, New Jersey retail space. Featuring the blue of their firm’s logo, In-Site’s NYC designers created custom backlit acrylic tables using 3Form’s chroma line as a two-height focal area for camera and tech display as well as conferencing needs for staff meetings. Above the display tables features Armstrong’s Metal Works thin blades with a painted deep blue open ceiling for dramatic effect. Lighting is integrated between the slats and the blades themselves have acoustical properties to assist with noise reduction.
WAC lighting’s track system is featured throughout the displays and recessed LED lighting in in the gypsum board for general lighting. Two sculptural pendant lights are dropped above a contract-grade modular seating area and LED strips are in select areas throughout the display systems. This NJ retail showroom is adequately lit and the product line shines.
The commercial finishes selected are durable and offer great style. The walls feature an off-white textured pattern with a grey accent at the main focal wall. The Mohawk carpet tile is a warm grey and taupe color range with angular patterning. The floor accent, aligning with the open ceiling design, is a durable Mannington LVT in a medium grey tone with abstract pattern and texture. NY interior design firm created an exciting space to interact with the product, which will look great for many years.
The mix of cable display systems and peg units from B+N both allows for flexibility as the company grows and displays change. Materiality and colors are used to delineate the retail brands as well. Wall units in wood laminate anchor the design and compliment the lightness of the cable systems. Near the entry, our NYC interior designers created a seating area features the company’s history and PR boards as they are growing quickly in their market. These panels can be easily switched out and updated as needed which was important for the client’s wishlist.
Upstairs in the corporate office space, the interior design continues in in high traffic locations including the main corridor by the café and workstation areas. These walls feature a mixture of large scale stocked graphic wallcovering from Wolf Gordon, fully custom wallcovering design and geometric art pieces set on a strong blue accented wall, further referencing the branding of the retail firm.
