LONG ISLAND RENTAL APARTMENT UPGRADES

Transitional, Welcoming, Targeted

After designing a number of new construction multi-family rental properties in Brooklyn and Queens, the growing developer asked In-Site Interior Design to join the team on creating four distinct interior apartment designs to upgrade their Long Island communities. This exciting undertaking required a look at the current market, and what it was missing. Now, this real estate developer can provide apartment upgrades in tune to the demographics of the area to provide a leading edge and be strategic in their return on investment.

Designing the interior apartments with four distinct styles to choose from is essentially designing four different building communities. In-Site Interior Design was fully onboard for the challenge. In the end, this package was submitted with full selection of cabinetry design, finishes and fixtures, i.e. flooring, lighting, countertops, hardware and appliances for each distinct style.

Kitchen cabinetry range from the classic white shaker-style door, contemporary grey wood slab-style door, transitional medium-toned wood laminate and the dark, yet sophisticated wood laminate. Plumbing and lighting selection leans from contemporary to transitional in style. The coordinating flooring and bathroom designs are also cohesive to each intended style and provide an array of options for the real estate investor.
