We’re launching our new New York Interior Design website! We’re very excited about it and would love to hear your feedback: Do you like the new look? Is it easy to navigate? Is there anything else you would like to see?

This section is going to be a library of fun, interesting, new, great furnishings, accessories, object d’ art, details, locations, design and decorating tips…

I welcome your input too! Just add a note and let me know what kind of design elements excite you!

Thank you for visiting with us….

So for those of you who didn’t get our latest email, we’re focusing now on some new lighting fixtures. We love lighting and use it decoratively as well as for pure function. It’s another tool to make a space more interesting. Check these out!

The Etta sconce by the Portugal company  Delightfull (yes, that’s really their name!) I find it to be a graceful assembly of copper leafs; delicate with beautiful form. It would look great in an entryway or foyer.

This simple, but elegant fixture is called The Beso (could this be named after a candy, I wonder?) It’s by Murray Feiss, who usually offers well-priced fixtures. This would be great over a kitchen island, maybe used in multiples.

If you can believe it, these are actually light fixtures! They have an LED light box which is recessed into the wall with the plexi 3-d form “shade” projecting from the surface. Very fun!

Let me know if you spot a great light fixture. We’re always looking for the next ‘It’ thing!
